We gladly accept clean, quality, gently used or new items such as clothing for men, women and children, jewelry, shoes, furniture, lamps, knick knacks, toys, games, electronics, appliances, sporting goods, books, housewares, holiday decorations and linens.
Please note that we are unable to accept clothing that is missing buttons, ripped or stained, has broken zippers, smells smoky, musty or of mothballs. We are unable to accept items that are missing pieces, damaged or in need of repair. ditto reserves the right to refuse items that are not in good condition.
Please remember that if you have a garage sale and items did not sell, they will NOT sell at ditto. Please do not bring these unsold items to ditto.
Thank you for understanding our policy. Removal and disposal of these items that we cannot sell creates an additional expense to ditto’s ministry. We do our best to donate unsold items to other ministries in need, but we only pass along items that are worthy of using.
Yes, there are. We are unable to accept:
Please drop off clothing and small item donations at our Donation Door located on the far right hand side of the building. If you are dropping off furniture or a large appliance, go to the donation door and a volunteer will get one of the managers. The manager will assess your donation, open the furniture door and show you where the item goes. Please have help with you to carry the item in. Please understand that not all items are accepted. A tax receipt will be provided for all items accepted.
Not necessary. We will happily accept general donations at your convenience during our store hours, just show up. However, if you will need a truck to transport your furniture or large appliances, please call us at 201-248-7534 to discuss possible arrangements.
We would prefer you to donate items by bringing them to the Donation Door any time between 10am and 4pm Monday through Saturday. Between 4pm and 6pm, either ring the bell at the Donation Door or come to the Main Entrance and speak with a volunteer who will be ready to assist you.
Yes. However, IRS regulations state they must be in good to excellent condition to be tax-deductible.
Yes. We provide a dated and signed sheet for your donation(s).

Items we can’t sell, for any of a number of reasons, will either be given to other mission organizations or recycled, as appropriate.
